The same way a dog is used to detect drug odors for police dog work, is the same concept we use in Dogworx!  The dog's scenting ability is very good, and your dog gathers a ton of information through their scenting abilities... why not harness this capability into a fun and useful activity!

Teach your dog to indicate on a trained odor!  This is a sport and it is a lot of fun!  Like any sport, it is a great activity and outlet for your dog... and you!  The object is to have your dog search for these trained odors and to indicate.  We work at having the dogs be independent, thorough, and accurate in their search.  Ultimately, we work towards competing where the exercise is timed.
